like i get what that post is saying but batman beyond aired from 1999-2001. damian didnt come in to play til 2004. cass had only just appeared in the comics. jason was still in limbo at that point.

the show (continuing from tnba and btas) established that dick and tim had been taken in by bruce, and only barb had been batgirl. they brought in terry because wb wanted a “teenage batman” cartoon but with the then current dcau continuity the only way to do that was by bringing in someone new and setting it in the future.

the beyond comics are set in that universe (albeit p fucked up from the bs that was futures end) and, as such, in that comic continuity of course dami and/or cass aint batman. bc in that continuity they dont exist.
