before I put my love vocab list here, I just want to clarify some things.
Milovat = to love. you usually say that about your partner or some thing that you really love. I wouldn’t use it to say “Miluju svoji rodinu” (I love my family). This is a very strong word, used mostly just for your romantic partner.
Mít rád = to like. you say it about food, people, activities, books, animals, interests…whatever you have emotional attachment to, or you really like. “Mám ráda knihy” (I like books) “Mám ráda spánek/ráda spím” (I like sleeping/I like to sleep)
Líbit = to like. but in a sense that you like how something looks. you can “líbit” clothes, jewelry, colours, houses, art… “Líbí se mi modrá” (I like blue) “Ty šaty se mi líbí” (I like those dress) “Ta malba se mi líbí” (I like the painting)
Chutnat = to like/to taste good. you use this word for food. “Chutná mi ovoce” (I like fruit) “Nechutná mi pivo” (I don’t like beer) “Chutná to skvěle!” (it tastes great!)
